Fossil Record Reveals Elusive Jellyfish More Than 500 Million Years Old
Using recently discovered 'fossil snapshots' found in rocks more than 500 million years old, researchers have described the oldest definitive jellyfish ever found. The researchers describe four types of cnidarian fossils preserving traits that allow them to be related to modern orders and families of jellyfish. The specimens are about 200 million years older than the oldest previously discovered jellyfish fossils. (Read More)

Electrical engineering professor Ruby Lee said the new architecture allows for what she describes as "transient trust." (Read More)
Elevated Nitric Oxide In Blood Is Key To High Altitude Function For Tibetans
